When should I seek treatment?

It is important that you seek treatment as soon as you notice, or someone else does, a change in your way of relating to others. There are a number of ways this can be done.

Please do not wait to seek treatment. View your condition as you would a health matter and ask yourself “if I had a broken leg would I wait to get treatment?”

I’m guessing you wouldn't so please “just pick up the phone or send me an email”.

Please be aware that this service is not an emergency facilities. Therefore if you feel at risk from yourself and are having serious thoughts about “is my life worthwhile”, and planning to act on your thoughts, please contact your doctor or crises team immediately. They will be able to offer you immediate help.
