Supervision
As a qualified practitioner psychologist who has undertaken additional training in supervision I am able to offer clinical supervision to trainee and qualified therapists.
My supervisory practice has evolved from my work within both primary and secondary mental health settings within the NHS, voluntary care settings and my private practice. These settings have enabled me to provide mentoring, case management, and take on a consultative role to other health care professions.
My clinical experience has enabled me to have an in-depth knowledge of the different settings in which supervision is offered and the need to be able to adopt a flexible approach to my supervisees. From this perspective I work from an integrative perspective in supervision, drawing on Hawkins and Shohet (2000) '7 Eyed Model', with a foundation of humanistic therapy whilst also adopting a collaborative approach.
I believe that this model will be suitable for both the qualified/trainee therapist and other health care professionals.
ON-LINE SUPERVISION SESSIONS are available and I would welcome an enquiry from you and/or your organisation.
